TPI consolidates difficult to pack, large, heavy cargo from multiple manufacturers in different locations into one, single project. We move cargo out of our warehouse as quickly as possible. However, freight consolidation may require storage to transport all pieces at once. Therefore, we offer temporary and long term storage solutions upon request, to best accommodate your needs.
We specialize in moving your freight in and out of our facility quickly, yet safely for maximum efficiency.
All materials which do not require immediate shipping are stored at our facility. Indoor storage is provided for materials requiring covered-space or outside if not required. TPI provides designated storage areas for each customer.
Account reps, receiving, packing and shipping agents, and warehouse management staff are trained to communicate within the organization and are in close contact with our customers in order to ensure the specific handling instructions are followed in strict compliance.
Once your cargo is received in our warehouse, a Material Receipt (MR) number is assigned by C2C. A physical and visible check of all pieces (e.g., cartons, bundles, skids, etc.) is made to ensure material was not received damaged. Upon receipt, a stamp with proper notations is applied to the vendor’s packing slip. All pieces are marked on the outside of the package with the MR number for immediate identification and warehouse location. Weights and dimensions are taken for all received items.
If you provide the purchase orders, the Receiving Agent will perform an internal inspection of the contents upon request. This inspection consists of verifying the item number, quantity of each item, part number and exact description (size, tag and stock number) of material on the purchase order. Any discrepancies are immediately reported to you for correction with your supplier.
